Amy Flyte
Office Manager
Amy Flyte is a music educator, conductor, and performer currently serving as Director of Bands and General Music Teacher at Bethlehem Catholic High School, where she directs instrumental ensembles and teaches courses including Concert Band, Marching Band, Music Theory, and Music Appreciation. She previously served as Director of the Valley Community Orchestra from 2023–2025.
Amy earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Moravian University and her Master of Music in Wind Conducting from Messiah University. A certified music educator and member of the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association, she was recognized in 2022 with a Pennsylvania nomination for “50 Directors Who Make a Difference” by School Band and Orchestra Magazine.
In addition to teaching, Amy performs baritone saxophone with the Dave Neith Jazz Orchestra and appeared with the Band of Band Directors in the 2023 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Outside of music, she is happily engaged and enjoys spending time with her cats, Biscuit and Honey.
Jorge Vera
String Coach - YPP
Jorge Vera joins our team as YPP String Coach starting in our 2026-27 season. Originally from Paraguay and now based in Allentown, Vera is a violinist, educator, and composer with an international career spanning Europe, South America, and the United States. He has performed with orchestras such as the Orquesta Sinfónica de la Ciudad de Asunción and has been recognized with awards including the Gindroz Prize and First Prize at the International Golden State Music Competition. Vera completed his Master’s in Music Performance at Carnegie Mellon University, where he was a member of the Honors String Quartet in Residence. Vera is also Musician-in-Residence and violinist in the Allentown Symphony Orchestra (ASO) and a Teaching Artist with El Sistema Lehigh Valley.
Natalie Trach
String Coach - JSP
Natalie Trach has been an elementary orchestra teacher in public school for nearly 10 years. She currently teaches in the Hatboro-Horsham School District. She received her B.M. in Music Education from Temple University and M.M.E. from Northern State University. Ms. Trach has studied with Inna Ezerovich and Diane Monroe. She is currently taking viola lessons from Chris Souza of Lehigh University to transition to playing Viola. She currently plays in a number of community orchestras in Bucks and Montgomery County including the Bucks County Symphony Orchestra. As an alumnae of JSP and YPP, Ms. Trach feels it is important for students with aptitude to participate in orchestras like JSP and YPP with the goal of continuing to play and enjoy music for the rest of their lives whether that is professionally or in community based orchestras or as concert attendees.
